Junior Freeman:
A large crowd
attended the funeral of Junior Freeman, a soldier who was killed on his way
home from an army camp to spend the Fourth of July. Burial was in the Dehart Cem., near the Holly
Springs Church,
the Rev. Frank Miller officiating.
Junior was only 18
years old. He was a volunteer. We are proud of boys like him who went to
help protect our country. The family
have our sincere sympathy.
Virgil’s brothers, John W. and Earl J. also died.
