Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Norwood of Tellico Plains Route 1 have been notified that their son Pfc. Theodore Dewey Norwood, who was wounded in action on Dec. 3, died Dec. 5 in the North African area.  He had been in service fifteen months.  Surviving are his parents; wife, Mrs. Mildred Swanson Norwood; six sisters, Mrs. William Toomey, Fontana, N.C.; Mrs. Bowden Fox, Delano; Mrs. Ray White, Mrs. Wesley McDaniel, Misses Hester and Betty Jo Norwood, Tellico Plains; three brothers, Pfc. Fred Lee Norwood, who has been overseas two years, and Luther and Ralph Norwood; and his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Dave Smith and Mrs. Elizabeth Norwood.
