PHILADELPHIA SOLDIER DIES IN OKINAWA FIGHT

Pfc, Kenneth Jaynes, son of Mr. & Mrs. J.J. Janyes of Philadelphia, Tenn., was reported killed in action on Okinawa June 10.

Memorial services  will be held at Philadelphia Baptist Church Sunday.

Pfc. Jaynes was withy the infantry.  He entered the Army last September and took his training at Camp Blandirg, Fla.  He had been overseas four months.

Other survivors include: widow and two children, two brothers, all of Philadelphia; three sisters, Juanita and Helen Jaynes and Mrs. Hobart Emerson of Knoxville.
