He leaves a daughter, Monique Abernathy, and a son, Ricky Abernathy, both of Milwaukee; three sisters, Ethel Clay of Dyersburg, and Jean Chambers and Dolly Abernathy, both of Milwaukee; four brothers, George Abernathy of Toledo, Ohio, Emmit Abernathy of Halls and Willie Abernathy and Van Abernathy, both of Milwaukee, and three grandchildren.
