Oak Grove Baptist Church is located at 629 Crutcher Lake Rd Henning, TN 38041. It is an African American Church. The cemetery is located in the back of the church. The cemetery is kept but there are some stones in the brush that are hard to get to. The church property borders Fort Pillow State Park and sits on the top of a hill. So, the cemetery descends down the hill the further you walk back into it. The cemetery was walked in the 1980's by an unknown source and a list is filed in the Lauderdale County Library. I have included information from these notes. If there is no grave stone image then most of the information was gained from the Library information. I gathered some of the additional information in the Notes/Relationships column from census records and other records. All information is subject to correction. |  |
