  1. Julie Glass says:

William Park Davis or “Twick,” as my family called him, is my first cousin twice removed. Samuel Barnett Davis, Twick’s uncle is my great grandfather who resided in Twickenham, Oregon. Park’s nickname Twick, is from the community where Samuel Davis lived. I found Twick’s tombstone in Canyon City cemetery, Grant County, Oregon. His name and Twick are both listed on his tombstone.

I have family photos of Twick’s parents and siblings in Tennessee, if you would like them for your website. Twick’s oldest brother, Samuel Bruce Davis lived with his uncle, Samuel Barnett Davis in Twickenham for a while. He is buried in the plot next to Samuel Barnett and his wife Iris Davis in Fossill, Oregon. Several of Twick’s siblings were also found living on my great grandparents ranch in Twickenham in various census.

I was born and raised in John Day, Oregon.
