Calvin M. Arnold, private, sergeant and later 1st lieutenant in the 13th Tennessee Cavalry, Company D from 24 Sep 1863 until close of war in August 1865. He caught pneumonia during a march from Camp Nelson, KY to Nashville, as evidenced by a pension affidavit which stated that he also suffered from liver disease and a weak back caused by his military service.
