Member of Tennessee House, 16th General Assembly, 1825-27 (2nd session only; replaced William Young, resigned); representing Hawkins County. Representative Parsons was a lawyer; trustee of McMinn County, 1817. He removed to Alabama after 1831; no further information found, except that he was a member of Masonic Order, Overton Lodge #5, Rogersville.
