LEATHERWOOD

Shari Holcomb Thu Jul 14 13:46:19 2005
I have spoken with the Chattanooga National cem today. My ancestor Nicholas Cicero LEATHERWOOD is indeed buried there... in plot 13369. and his death is given as 8-21-1903 which sets up a lot of confusion. The rest of the family, supposedly his wife and 4 kids and their families, were in Texas by 1892. His wife supposedly died here between 1892-1898 of Yellow fever. I have found 3 of the 4 kids in Texas 1900 census. I have not found my direct ancestor, son William Cicero on the Dallas 1900 but he is here on the 1910.

So now, there is some question, that maybe he didn't arrive with the rest. Maybe he needed to stay and take care of mom and dad?
Can anyone do a death cert look up for me for N. C. LEATHERWOOD for 8-21-1903? probable Hamilton Cty Tn.
Thanks much.
Shari
