Spivey Cemetery

The Spivey Cemetery is located thirty five miles northeast of Chattanooga. Follow highway # 27 north to Daughtrey Ford Road going east for five miles to the home of Mr Fred Burton. At back of his home, there are three members of the Spivey family buried. One half mile up the Ridge on left, nine others are buried. The land at that time belonged to Mr Holiday Spivey, he having given land for the cemetery. It is now owned by Fred Burton. There are about twenty five very old unmarked graves.
