Sniteman Cemetery


Sniteman Cemetery which was established about 1840 by Christian Sniteman is two miles southwest of Gold Point. Mr Sniteman at that time spelled his name Schneidman. Rev J H Rogers and wife are buried here, also Sg't John B Rogers, a confederate soldier = Co K 4th Tenn Cav is buried here. There are approximately seventy five graves.
