Roberts Cemetery


The Roberts Cemetery is located fourteen miles northwest of Chattanooga. Follow highway # 27 to Falling Water Bridge which is twelve miles. Follow the Falling Water road for two miles. The land was given by Mr Emerson Roberts. The grave of Nancy Roberts who was buried in 1850 has the oldest marker. There are twenty unmarked graves.

Roberts, N M - June 19, 1880 - Apr 10, 1907 - 'A light from our household is gone, a voice we loved is stilled; a place is vacant in our hearts that never can be filled.'
Goodson, James - Aug 22, 1869 - Mar 11, 1891 - 'Remember friends, as you pass by, as you are now, so once was I; as I am now, so you must be; prepare for Heaven and follow me.'
Holland, John W - Feb 19, 1829 - May 18, 1873
Holland, Sarah E - March 5, 1863 - Feb 11, 1866 - 'At rest.'
