Martin Cemetery


The Martin Cemetery is located thirty one miles north of Chattanooga. Follow highway # 27 north to the Coulter road left two miles to the 'old' Martin farm. The land was donated by Mr James Madison Martin. There are about thirty unmarked graves, some being very old.
Martin, James M - Oct 4, 1841 - Apr 2, 1892
Martin, Minerva J - Feb 23, 1846 - July 10, 1895 - 'A light from our household is gone, a voice we loved is stilled; a place is vacant in our hearts that never can be filled.'
Martin, Coulter - Sept 6, 1889 - Nov 12, 1902 - 'Gone but not forgotten.'

Williams, Lora Lee - Daughter of W I and Margaret Williams - Oct 19, 1897 - Sept 27, 1903
