Samuel McPheron, deceased, 1st May 1848
I, Samuel McPheron, being weak in body but of sound mind, do make and
publish this my last will and testament. First, I will to my Creator my
soul from whence it came and my body to the dust to be buried in a
Christian like manner. Secondly, I request that my funeral expenses be
paid out of any thing I may have. Thirdly, I enjoin it upon my Executor
to pay all my debts. Fourthly, I will and bequeath unto my brothers
Andrew McPheron and Allen McPheron all of my interest in the land that
my father Andrew McPheron willed to me. Fifthly, I will and bequeath
unto my sisters Blanche Drake, formerly Blanche McPheron, and Martha
McPheron all of my interest in the perishable property that my father
Andrew McPheron willed to me to be divided equally between them. Lastly,
I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother Andrew McPheron my Executor
of this my last will and testament in testimony where of I do set my
hand and affix my seal this 23rd day of March 1848.
