HATCHER, Harry L. I have a photograph that was made at a commercial photgrapher in Alexandria, TN. The date written on it is either 1829 or 1879. It looks more like 1829 and is believed to be his birthday. He appears to be about 40 or 50 years old. Alexandria could have been located in Smith County at that time.

HARROD, ORANGE, MIRACK Seeking information on JOHN H. HARROD (born ~ 1812 in ALA.). He married CATHARINE G. ORANGE ~ 1837, and they lived in Dekalb Co,TN and Smith Co, TN prior to moving to Butler Co, KY in the late-1840's. According to pension papers, JOHN H. HARROD was licensed as a Methodist Minister in 1842 and joined the Methodist Conference in 1843. This possibly took place in Dekalb Co, TN. Any clues or suggested resources would be most appreciated. I would love to hear from all the HARROD, ORANGE, and/or MIRACK family researchers. Thanks.

I am seeking information on descendents of Wells ALLEN, who married a Mary TURNER in 1866. Out of this bond was 6 children listed: Mary A.; Cynthia P. (Paralee); Cena F.; Effie; Booker; and Edgar. Wells ALLEN married again in 1887 to a Meely DEARMAN. There was a marriage listed between Cynthia P (Paralee) ALLEN and James CALICOAT on 31 Oct 1884. Meely DEARMAN was living near Smithville in 1880 with 5 children, and no husband. We believe this is the same one Wells married in 1887. My Grandmother's name was Paralee. Her son, Arthur ROBINSON was my father.
