BOLLING, BOWLES

I am looking for Frances "Fanny" BOLLING or BOWLES. She was born 1777 in Hanover Co., Virginia and apparently died in 1869 in Dekalb Co, and was buried in Walker Cemetery in Kellenberg,Tennessee. I am looking to verify this if possible. Does anyone know where this cemetery is and if there is a stone there? Thanks for any help, Rollie

DILDINE,ALEXANDER,LACKINGS

DILDINE/DILLDINE I am looking for info on any DIL/LDINEs in the DeKalb area in the 1800s. I know they transported goods between Sligo and Nashville by boat. Any info on any DILDINE/DILLDINE would be appreciated. A cemetery lookup for the surname would be great or tell me how to look it up. I live out of state. Looking for info on a Mary Lackings and a Mary ALEXANDER. MARYs would have been living in 1865 I know. I think my ggg-grandfather Ammon DILDINE was killed by outlaws in 1863 in Buffalo Valley. Is there a Peeled Chestnut Cemetery in DeKalb? Thank you Peggy

FRAZIER

As the granddaughter of William H. FRAZIER and Mollie REYNOLDS, I am now 70 and desperately searching for any information. They were married in May, 1888 in Dekalb County. They had 12 children; seven of which are listed in the 1900 Census, Dekalb County, District 15, dwelling #177. My father, Robert L. FRAZIER was a twin to Alfred L. FRAZIER born November, 1893. I cannot find any subsequent listing in the 1910 Census in Dekalb County for the rest of the twelve children who may have been born in Hickman County. These are my Aunts and Uncles. Since I am the last of this generation any association or recognition you may have or come across or have knowledge of my people-- will be most gratefully received.

EMERY

A John and William EMERY were killed Feb. 9th 1865 near Liberty Tn. DeKalb Co. for being confederate guerrillas. Both were killed by troops of the 14th Tn. Federal troops under the command of Col. J.H. Blackburn. Can anyone tell me more about this, maybe other family names, place of graves. I believe both are in my family line and could be my brick wall or a piece of the puzzle that breaks down that brick wall.

DALE RIDGE CHURCH

I am searching for info about a Church that was located on the opposite side of Caplinger grocery store on hwy. 96. There is a house at the road and a small county road that dead-ends at another house off the road. This road at one time lead to Indian Creek down thru Spencer hollow. Willis Page's research has the United Baptist of the New Union Assoc. organized in 1881 with property donated by Matthew Curtis who along with William Arnold and William H. Tramel were trustees. By 1889 it was called Good Hope Free Will Baptist Church. The Church closed its doors by 1911. There is a small cemetery of about 25 graves beside the house. The building was also used as a school and remained open thru 1940. When Indian Creek Baptist Church closed due to the dam construction a small group of people who didn't want to go to Smithville used the building for their Church. The building was delapidated and soon they tore it down and built the building that sits there now. All info would be appreciated.
