Oza Vanatta was the daughter of Winfield Scott and Anna Paralee Curtis
Vanatta. The SSDI and the 1900 census both give her birth as March 1,
1892, differing with her grave marker, but the censuses from 1910-1940
consistently give her birth year as about 1895, agreeing with the grave
marker. The SSDI also lists her last residence as Davidson Co., TN;
however, there is no death certificate for her anywhere in the state of
TN; so, her death location was not found. She married 1st, ______
Pritchett between 1910 and 1920, no county marriage record. He died
before 1920. She married secondly, Floyd Self on December 26, 1920 in
Dekalb Co, TN. She died December 22, 1988 according to the
SSDI.
Omis Floyd Self was born February 1, 1896 in Tennessee to Harrison and
R F Granstaff Self. He died January 3, 1938 in District 1,
Alexandria, DeKalb, TN. He was buried on January 4.
