Etta (Johnson) Scott's death certificate says she was born on November
27, 1869. Her parents were Isaac and Paralee Hays Johnson. She married
March 5, 1885 to Manson B Scott in DeKalb Co, TN. She died on April 17,
1949 with bronchial pneumonia, acute upper respiratory failure and
congestive heart failure. She was buried on April 18, 1949. The
informant on her death certificate was L E Scott, of Liberty, TN.
Manson B Scott was born on November 13, 1865 in Tennessee to Jessie W
Scott. His death certificate states that his mother was a Sandlin. Most
researchers think she was Jane Bennett. He died November 19, 1936 and
was buried on November 20th. Cause of death was pernicious anemia. The
informant on his death certificate was Mrs Herbert Malone of Alexandria.
Their children were: Linnie (m.)(b. Aug. 1887); Rosie Era (b. 1892) md.
Davis, buried in next grave to the left.
