Sintha Caroline Wauford was the daughter of David and Mellissa Helen Hayes Wauford. She was born April 16, 1868 in DeKalb Co, TN. She married Jordan Vanatta on November 12, 1885 in DeKalb Co, TN. She died November 28, 1959.

Jordan Vanatta was born June 20, 1861 to John and Katharine Measles Vanatta. He was a farmer. He died October 6, 1938 in Alexandria, DeKalb, TN.
