Erby Oakley (1896-1990-
blank) & Ida Oakley (1896-1970)
Ovie Erby Oakley was the son of John D Oakley and Nora
Wauford. He ran a service station in Alexandria for
years and they lived nearby. He was born in March, 1896 and died
October 13, 1990 in Davidson Co., TN, but was residing at the time in
DeKalb Co., TN.
Erby Oakley married Ida Vanatta March 31, 1918 in DeKalb Co., TN. They
had one son, also buried here, born and died the same day in 1929 (see
below).
Ida Sexton Vanatta was the daughter of Jordan and Sinthy Wauford
Vanatta. Ida was born Sept., 1896 and died October 26, 1970
in DeKalb Co., TN.
