Elizabeth Mathis. She was born in April/May 1880, according to the 1880 census. She married Shelah/Sheila
Jennings on November 5, 1896 in Wilson Co, TN. The 1920 census of
Wilson Co, TN gives the following: Shelah, age 44, Autie age 39, son
Elvis age 19, daughter Ora age 16, son Culley age 14, son Argie age 8,
daughter Pauline age 4 year 4 months, and daughter Inez age 1 year 5
months. Autie died on January 6, 1954 in Alexandria, Dekalb, TN.
Shelia Jennings was born, according to his death certificate,
on June 12, 1875 to Tom Jennings and Cis Reeves Jennings. He married
Autie Talley on November 5, 1896 in Wilson Co, TN. Shelia died on May
23, 1955 at McFarland Hospital in Lebanon, TN, and was buried on May
25. The cause of death was given as myocarditis. The
informant on his death certificate was Elmer Jennings. He resided in
District 13, Wilson Co, TN.
