Continential Army. This is not the same Branch JONES, son of Rep JONES.
Does anyone have information that might show that Rep had a brother
named
Branch as well as a son. I have information that gives conflicting
places
of origin. One source says they came from Virginia and another that
says
North Carolina. A great deal of the info I have is oral history passed

across
much of the American continent. Many families are covered who settled

Henry listed as SQUIRE. John served in the military in Newport,
Tennessee, 17 October
1813. (Newport may refer to a place in Cocke County, TN or it more
likely refers to a Military Camp in Rhea County, TN.) He married Miss
Burnett? before 1817. She was most likely
only about twelve years of age. John was listed as the head of a
family on the 1820 Census in White County, Tennessee. His brother
George was also listed on that census. John was listed as the head of a
family on the 1830 Census in White County, Tennessee. There appeared to
be many John HENRY(s) in NC, TN, and MO during his lifetime. He married
Sarah (Sallie) Long in Tennessee, by 1834. George HENRY may be his
father.

- KELLEY,
KELLY, OTTINGER
- Mary E. Kelley married Noah L. Ottinger, August 22, 1897.
Alpha
Britanie Kelley married G. Louis Ottinger on October 10, 1892. Who
were Noah and G. Louis Ottinger's parents and grandparents? William
and Rebecca Kelly attended St. James Lutheran Church in the 1850's.
Was Rebecca Kelly (born 1852) the daughter of Henry L. Ottinger and
Maria Ketner? (Henry B. Ottinger had a daughter Rebecca that never
married.) Do any Ottinger families in Cocke County have any
information on the families, Kelly or Kelle, that traveled with the
Ottinger family from Shenandoah County, Virginia to Tennessee?
