Where have all the HIPSHERs gone? Desperately seeking info on AngieHipsher (or HIPSHIRE). I have no dates, no spouse, no parents, nosiblings, and only a few of her several children. Children I have:Ike Hipsher, Lee Hipsher (died in 1930's or 1940's), Honey (married aLane), Jane Hipsher (b. 3/4/1881 d. 10/20/1953 married GeorgeWashington (Ballie) Greene). Jane is my mother's grandmother, andAngie is my mother's great-grandmother, so I know she existed. Thefamily just didn't talk about her much, so Mom doesn't know much ofanything about her except her name. Any scrap of info reallyappreciated!

Samuel ENGLISH b. abt 1770-1780 and wife, Polly MULLINS, b. abt1780's. Children: Robert, William, Samuel, Wiley, Charles,Elizabeth, Jane, Polly, John, Nancy and Rosanna. Daughter, Jane,born Claiborne Co. 1813. This family appears on the 1830 census inClaiborne Co.. Moved to Buchanon Co., Missouri in 1832. Samuel andseveral of the younger children died during move to Missouri. Polly had a sister, Nancy, who married Jasper Hopper and lived inBurke Co., NC before moving to Missouri. Their descendants have beenwell documented. These families eventually moved to California during Gold Rush years.Need all info on Samuel and Polly's parents.

According to theinformation on his tombstone, he was a "member of IOR Oklahoma Tribe73." (I have a document where he paid dues to the "Internal Order ofRedmen" --which I'm assuming "IOR" on the tombstone stands for.) Jack and his son Hugh Bryant moved to Texas after Lizziewas born and his wife died. Lizzie was raised in Grainger Countyeither living with her grandparents the Sheltons or cousins named theEmmitts.
