Where have all
the HIPSHERs gone? Desperately seeking info on AngieHipsher (or
HIPSHIRE). I have no dates, no spouse, no parents, nosiblings, and
only a few of her several children. Children I have:Ike Hipsher, Lee
Hipsher (died in 1930's or 1940's), Honey (married aLane), Jane
Hipsher (b. 3/4/1881 d. 10/20/1953 married GeorgeWashington
(Ballie) Greene). Jane is my mother's grandmother, andAngie is my
mother's great-grandmother, so I know she existed. Thefamily
just didn't talk about her much, so Mom doesn't know much ofanything

Samuel ENGLISH b. abt 1770-1780
and wife, Polly MULLINS, b. abt1780's. Children: Robert, William,

of IOR Oklahoma Tribe73." (I have a document where he paid dues to

Faulkners who lived in southwestVA (Wythe/Scott Co's) between 1790
and 1850. Some of theirdescendents may have moved to Claiborne Co. A
David Falkner (andspouse Celia Grizzle) along with David's sister
Mary Falkner (andspouse William Grizzle) moved to IN from Scott Co.
VA c.1835. DavidFalkner had 21 children by two wives. After Celia
died in 1856, Davidmarried Mary Clark in 1857 in IN. He and his

My great grandfather was full blood Cherokee.
His name was JackBryant. He married a woman whose last name was
Shelton from GraingerCounty. Her parents' name was Anderson and Mary
Shelton. They had adaughter named Lizzie Lee Bryant born in Beech
Grove ( Lake City,TN-Coal Creek) on 11-12-1892 and died on 9-4-67.
Lizzies married namewas Wilson. Jack and his son Hugh Bryant moved
to Texas after Lizziewas born and his wife died. Lizzie was raised
in Grainger Countyeither living with her grandparents the Sheltons or
cousins named theEmmitts. Any information would be so appreciated.
