Can anyone help me locate information on James Newton MEYERS (Myers, Myeres)born Aug 14, 1876 in Tennessee. Married Amanda Jane FORD b.Feb 1883, Claiborne County, TN. Married Feb 1903 in Erath County, Tex. Have not been able to find him on any census before 1910. Who were his parents and siblings?

Trying to locate Benjamin Franklin Delph born 1823 to 1824, married Dorcas Davidson born abt. 1825. Benjamin and Dorcas married in Claiborne, Tennessee and had a son named Larkin Delph born may 27, 1844 in clay Co. KY, he died July 13, 1915 in Pittsburg, KY (Laurel Co.) I am searching for info on the families of JACOB REDMOND and his wife MARGARET LITTERLL and their daughter MOLLIE REDMOND b.10-2-1867. Mollie married THOMAS ELLISON and they had a son (my great-grandfather) WILEY ELLISON b:6-23-1889.They all resided in CLAIBORNE CO., TAZEWELL, TN.

I am looking for info on JEMIMA WHITAKER (no dates known). She was the first wife of CLINTON T. WHITEAKER (Jemima's maiden name is said to have been Whitaker also.) Clinton T. and Jemima had a daughter ( my great- grandmother) OLLIE MAE WHITEAKER b:3-5-1888 d:9-15-1957. I am told they lived in CLAIBORNE CO., TAZEWELL, TN.

William & Elizabeth TEAGUE,with their children Joshua & Elizabeth (SILER) TEAGUE and Jacob & Rebecca (TEAGUE) SILER moved from NC to Anderson Co., TN around 1800. They then went to KY about 1808-10. I am trying to establish whether Stephen TEAGUE, who died in Grainger Co., TN in 1833 was a son of William & Elizabeth. His wife was Hester (Routh?). Any information on Stephen TEAGUE greatly appreciated.

Researching Garrett N. Bryant, born in NC in 1805 in NC. Moved to Claiborne TN in 1820, married Sarah Stanton in 1826. 8 children born to this union. One of the sons was Lawson Bryant, born in 1834, married Eliza Jane Faulkner/Fortner in 1853. 12 children born to this marriage. One of the sons was Garrett N. Bryant married to Mary Greer in 1884. 12 children born to this union. One of the sons was Lawson Bryant born in 1886, married to Maudie Estep around 1916. Does anyone know where the first Garrett Neil Bryant was born in NC. Is anyone out there tracing this line of Bryant's? Will share any info I have.

Need information on William A. Meyers (Myers, Myeres) born about 1855, Claiborne County, TN. He was the son of Newton Meyers and Tabitha Ferguson. William does not appear on the 1880 TN census and have not been able to locate him anywhere else. Did he get married, have any children or did he die before the 1880 census? Any information appreciated.

I need help from you good folks in Claiborne Co. I need to know about on Jasper DAVIS born in 1842. Jasper served in the Civil War with the Union Army in the 2nd tn. vol. inf. POLLY GOIN a dau of Thomas and Jemimia Sinnes Goin mar JACOB COONTZ abt 1810 probably in Claiborne Co. There are records of Thomas Goin and Jacob Coontz, no mention of the wives. Who are the parents of Thomas Goin and of Jacob Coontz? Jacob Coontz and his family left CC, TN about 1824. The above information is from the application for Citizenship in the Cherokee Nation of Jestern Coontz Castoe, a dau of Jacob Coontz and Polly Goin Coontz filed in 1890's.
