Henderson Girl Marries
Miss Jasper GALBRAITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. GALBRAITH, of this city, was married to Porter J. BYRD on Tuesday evening, Dec. 31, at 8:30 o’clock. The marriage took place in the home of Dr. Harry Scribner AMES, by whom the ceremony was performed. Mary GALBRAITH, sister of the bride, and John SALMON, of Chicago, witnessed the marriage. The ceremony was followed by a small reception at the new apartment of the bride and groom. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Hubert WILKINSON, formerly of this city.
