I am looking for the parents and/or any information after 1910 on William Anderson LUNSFORD, b. 1848 TN, m. Sarah Rebecca GARLAND, children: Joseph A., Robert W., John S., William W., James M., Sara Lula Myrtle, Mary Alice Elizabeth, and Albert. They lived in the 13th District (Watauga Community), Carter Co., TN in 1910. William A.

Looking for information on Davidson in late 1700s and early 1800s. Samuel, Blane, James, John, William and Agnew were in Carter Co, and later Sullivan County. At least Agnew and Samuel were in Bedford Co, Va prior to moving to TN.

I have a death certificate of my gggrandmother Lou (Louisa? or Lisa E.? or Loweza?) WRIGHT b July 1861 or 1862 in Carter Co. TN, d Dec 28 1925 in McDowell Co WV. She married William Frank WRIGHT and they lived in Heaton area Avery Co NC. He died, she moved to Foscoe area, Watauga Co NC, remarried (maybe twice), raised her children,
divorced, moved to and died in Roderfield WV. Her parents are listed as Wesley CARDEN from Carter Co TN and the mothers name is listed as Mrs. KNIGHT from Ashe Co NC. I'm having a hard time trying to find a Wesley CARDEN around the time she was born in 1861 or 1862 or in any other census years. I've noticed a John Wesley CARDEN in census records but I don't think it's the same person. It's possible she was an out of wedlock child or maybe her father died and her mother and siblings (if any) moved. Thank You!

I am looking for info on my gggrandfather, Jefferson Davis Mayberry, an American Indian (have been told Cherokee). He was reportedly born on May 22, 1861 in TN (unknown county). It is reported that he married a woman with the last name of "Arthur", and had a daughter named Carrie Alice Mayberry who was born on November 29, 1901. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking any information on Charles CASEEN, who was given a land grant on the waters of the Watauga, 300 acres, land "where he now lives", in the 1780s. This land was next to Henry RICHARDSON. Can this man be the parent of my Milburn COZEAN who was in Williamson County and married a Tucker there about 1805 ?

I am searching for parents of (Rev.) John WHEELER whose Military Record shows him born in Washington County, VA., ca. 1793. One census record shows him born in Tennessee and still another shows him born in NC. Most others show VA. I have not found any WHEELER'S in Virginia to which I can connect. My maiden name was Bonnie Blevins. My father was Benjamin Harrison Blevins, born 29 Jan 1894 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. His father was William and his mother was Leanna Garland. He died before I was born, thus I never had a chance to meet him. I understand he had a son by a previous marriage who was named Woodrow. I would like to find out more information about my family.

I am searching for a John L. MOORE born in Carter Co TN 15 Nov 1809. He had brothers George MOORE, Daniel MOORE and unknown MOORE. Perhaps other siblings. One brother, the unknown, ended up in Giles Co TN and

We have a cemetery on our property on Bear Cage Road, in Roan Mountain. On one toumbstones we can read "Red Carver" 13 TN calvery. There are many other marked and unmarked graves all around but cannot be read. We would love to know something about the history of the cemetery and the people that are burried here and just where all
