Submitter Notes: Fielding Lowe was married first to Mary Swope.  After she died, he married Sarah Bowman Carroll, a widow with children.  Sarah was quite a bit younger than Fielding - he lived to be 104 - and they had a family of their own before his death.  His children from his first marriage were already grown by the time he married Sarah.

I, Fielding Lowe, do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all wills by me at any other time made.

First I want my funeral expenses and all my just debts paid out of any money I may die possessed of or the first that may come into the hands of my executor.

Secondly I will and bequeath to my beloved children to Margaret Campbell, Matta Brown, John Lowe, William A. Lowe, Polly Cooper, Samuel Lowe, Sally Branam, Eliza Branam, and Elizabeth Bryant one dollar to each of the above named children.

Thirdly I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah all my lands that I may have at the time of my death and all my other proprety and all debts that may be owing to me at the time of my death to have and use during her natural life or while she remains a widow and at her death or marriage then to belong to my other four children to Emaline, Parley, Becca Jane, and Elias to be equally devided among them.

Then fourthly and lastly I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife Sarah my executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 1st day of October 1858.

Signed and delivered in our presents this the 1st day of October 1858
