     Know all men by these presents that we Richard Linville, James Crowley, Spencer Graham, Simeon Wilhite Philip Brooks & Samuel Curtis all of the County of Campbell and State of Tennessee are held and firmly bound unto Willie Blount Esquire Governor of the State of Tennessee and his Successors in Office in the penal sum of one Thousand Dollars to which payment well and truly to be made we bind our- selves our heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and Severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated this 8th day of December 1812

     The Condition of the above Obligation is such that Whereas this day the above bound Richard Linville is appointed Collector of the publick and County Tax for the Two Succeeding Years, and if the above bound Richard Linville Shall well and truly Collect and pay over to the Different Offices authorised to receive the same all the publick monies of the said County of Campbell which he as Collector aforesaid is bound to do by Law then the above Obligation to be void Otherwise to remain in full force virtue & Effect
