  • The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, signed by the U.S. and Mexico on February 2, 1848, formally ended the Mexican War (1846-1848).

  • The Tennessee State Library and Archives will photocopy the listing of one surname for a fee.
  • The National Archives provides copies of service records and pension records. Form NAFT-85 can be obtained by following the instructions posted here.
