Blount County, Tennessee Wills Microfilm Roll #139 Vol 1 page 146 The will of: WHITE, William In the name of God Amen I William White of Blount County being old and past all labour but of a sound mind and disposing memory do call to mind to dispose of all my worldly property as God have pleased to Give. To my daughter Elizabeth Maxwell all my personal property as long as she lives or during her natural life And if she marries then the case is altered then my Executor Thomas Carpenter is to divide my property as follows. To my two Grand Children Rebeckey Jean Maxwell and Margery Maxwell as follers, my fire dogs and wash kettle and little pot and oven I bequeath to my Grand daughter Rebeckey Jean Maxwell. I then bequeath and give my Bureau to Margery Maxwell, I then bequeath and give my bed and furniture and bedstead between the two Children afore named to be divided between the two afore named. I acknowledge this to be my last will and testament. William White November the 3rd 1835. James Oliver have had his part. Jerrymiah Oliver have had his part. John Maxwell have had his part. Chapman White have had his part. James Pitts have had his part. If Elizabeth Maxwell pay all the just debts she have created & then she is to hold any said property afore mentioned she lives her natural life or as long as she lives single. If she marries then the case is altered then my said property is to these two children Rebeckey Jean Maxwell and Margery Maxwell as I have a mentioned being my last will and testament and desire my hand and pen Thomas Carpenter my Executor of the said William Whites property afore mentioned.
