Blount County, Tennessee Wills Microfilm Roll #139 Vol 1 page 152 The will of WHITE, David I David White of the County of Blount and State of Tennessee being far advanced in age but of Sound mind and disposing memory and being disposed to make Such disposition of my property as I choose do devise and bequeath to my son John White the plantation on which I now live and a late entry tract containing one hundred acres and one mare and one horse which I now own and one half of my Stock of Cattle hogs and Sheep, and one 3half of the household and Kitchen furniture and all the farming tools and utensils including one wagon and Team and gearing. And the other half of my Stock of hogs Cattle and Sheep and household and Kitchen furniture and 1 colt I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane White. I give the residue of my estate of whatever Kind or Sort to my Said Son John White and my daughter Jane White to be equally divided between them. My funeral and burial expenses is to be born alone by my son John White. My son John and daughter Jane are to take care of me during my life. I hereby revoke and annul all other or former wills and testaments. My other children I have long since given them what I intend them to have of my property.
