Lawrence Stockdale (August 3, 1923 - March 22, 2003), and Betty Joyce Furr
Stockdale (April 25, 1930 - June 20, 2006), on their wedding day, December 8,
1948. They married in Corinth, Alcorn County, Mississippi.
Lawrence was the son of Finos Stockdale (March 14, 1885 - June 13, 1973), and
Josie Belle Swindell Stockdale (August 12, 1884 - July 12, 1951). Betty Joyce
was the daughter of Levi Furr (March 11, 1897 - March 9, 1976), and Emma
Delilah (Lila) Herndon Furr (Feb. 3, 1894 - May 3, 1976).
